Your copyrights will remain valid for 70 years. The associated royalties go either to your heirs or to the person(s) you designated before you died. 

Document with your heirs
Your next of kin will have to provide us with a document naming the heirs, such as a notarial deed drawn up by your notary. If no notary is appointed, we expect them to provide a certificate of succession. They can request this from the registration office of the FPS Finance that is competent for your place of residence. 

Representative 
Do you have several heirs? Then they must appoint a representative. This person represents them in their contacts with us and must become a member of Sabam. This person receives all royalties and distributes them among the heirs.
